She knew better than most that Sirius was a stubborn individual and also knew that she was the hated party, amongst the four of them after discovering Remus' secrets and she was pretty sure she had been dead right on what the other three did to help him. However, now was not the time to be blurring the lines between good and evil. Sighing softly, she noticed Sirius walking toward the Shrieking Shack, a place she hadn't been to since first year. Sighing softly, she wondered if maybe that's where Remus and James were as well.
Having followed Sirius closely, but still giving the boy room, she wondered what kind of trouble he was about to set himself into. Sirius hadn't been too pleased with her lately, not that it mattered to her, but she wanted to try and get along with her boyfriend's friends, especially his best mate. Once Sirius entered the Shrieking Shack, she smirked softly, after checking to see that Remus was not there, at least not in wolf form, she too entered the shack.
"Sirius, what are you doing here?" She asked softly, she was trying to be nice, after what had gone on between them. Her eyes showing the truth more than not. She needed to try and get Sirius to understand that she was not out to make James choose between her and his friends. That wasn't what she wanted. Hell as far as she was concerned James had more of a reason to choose his friends after all their bond together was much stronger than her own. But still, she had to at least try. She couldn't handle trying to be in a relationship with James when his friends were so against it. Right now Remus had been okay with her being around, and Peter, well he hadn't mattered to much. The only one she was hoping would be okay with it, had been Sirius, but the two seemed to have a problem getting along and that's why she was there, to try and get along with him. "I know you think I'm stalking you but that is not what I am here to do. Look you're James' best mate, and I'm just trying to get along with you as best I can. I realize you think I may be a spoiled brat, who seems to get in the way, but that's not who I am." She said softly, her own eyes glowing dimly in the very little light of the Shrieking Shack. "If you don't approve of James and me, then I'll break up with him. 'Cause I don't want to hurt you or him. That's not what I came out here to do, it's not what I've wanted or chosen." She gave him a small smile.
"I know you can't stand me being around James, that you think I'm no good for him and you're probably right. But I'm not here to separate you and James, you two have been like brothers all your lives, more so than you and Regulus have. I like the fact you're so close. But can't you understand that James has enough room in his heart for the both of us. And I know you don't want to share him but if you don't at least try....James may not be able to handle anything more. James has been chasing me since basically first year...you know that better than anyone. I didn't ask for any of this to happen. And I'm sorry about the way I found out about Remus' secret and how I may have exposed it. But I took care of it....with a little hocus pocus of my own, granted I know it doesn't fix everything and I know you're still pissed off at me. And you, have every right to be. But Remus has forgiven me, I went and seen him the other night. But you, you're the most stubborn out of your group. That's why I came to you next. Once I calmed Remus down a little bit, he knows I'd never reveal his secret or yours." She awaited his response unsure of what Sirius would do now, he was still testy, although it had been three days since the event in the common room where she had leaked the information about Remus' transformation, although now no one outside the Marauders or herself, knew of it ever happening.

Sirius was strolling around through Hogsmeade, eager to clear his mind of all thoughts for as long as he could. He didn't want to think about Regulus, Lily, or even James. All three of them were getting on his nerves. The thought that did comfort him, however, happened to be Kacie. But, the sad thing was she was ignoring all of his letters and his blatant attempts to capture her friendship with his open arms. He had never been shoved away so obviously. It was hurtful to his ego and his heart. It seemed that if he were destined to be without a woman by his side eternally. Sure, he enjoyed having the multitude of women fall all around his feet, but he was eager to find a kind of Lily. But, he was in no way trying to find a woman just like her. The redhead was so bloody annoying and she was always so bossy and in your face about everything. He couldn't stand being in love with someone like that. That was one of the reasons he really liked Kacie. She maybe annoyed him most of the time because she was so much like him, but other than that . . . She was beautiful, funny, smart, and even had a heart of gold. At the moment, he couldn't think of anything nice to think about Lily. She was stealing his James away and he knew that talking to Remus was unhelpful for the blonde knew exactly why he was pissed. Remus was aware of Sirius's possible over-affection. He was much like a dog in that way. Once he got attached, he never let go. Good thing he'd always hated his parents. At least, when he realized that they were in the wrong. Ever since that moment of epiphany, he had always felt like the outcast. It was sad, really, but he was thankful to have James and his parents.
When he found himself inside of the Shrieking Shack, he sighed slightly, knowing that he rather hated the place, but it was where he and the other Marauders had made a bond that couldn't be broken by anything. Not in his mind, anyway. Stretching his arms, he growled when he heard footsteps behind him. He had had a feeling that someone was following him, but he hadn't been sure who it was. When his silver pools met the form of Lily Evans, he growled angrily. With flashing eyes, he exclaimed, "Damn it, woman, don't you know when to leave someone alone? Maybe this is one of the reasons why I don't like you!" He rolled his eyes, eager to get away from her. But, at the moment, she was blocking the exit. If worse came to worst, he was going to have to use force to get by her. Smirking at the thought, he realized he wouldn't have to use much to get past her small frame. In this moment, he was considering her to be a Stalker, cold and relentless when it came to capturing her prey. She was determined to get him to like her and that just hardened Sirius's heart even more. She should let him come to her of his own accord, not chase him down and beg for his approval. Nope, he wasn't a people pleaser. He shrugged at her question before muttering, "I don't see how that's any of your damned business, to be honest, Evans." He spoke her name with anger, making it quite clear that he wanted nothing to do with her at the moment. He rolled his silver pools when she continued to talk. His brain was beginning to hate her for she was giving it a headache. "You forgot to mention extremely overbearing and nosy." He examined his nails, not wanting to look at her. When she said she would break up with James if it bothered Sirius, a sort of guilt washed through the raven-haired boy's bones. Damn it. He wanted to take her offer, but he knew he couldn't do that to James. He finally had the girl of his dreams and Sirius wasn't going to take that away from him, no matter how much he wanted to. He sighed loudly and moved away from her, eager to keep his distance in case he snapped suddenly. "Stop messing with me, Evans! Don't throw this guilt trip on me! You know James has been in love with you ever since he laid eyes on you!" he roared, turning his face to hers again. The anger floated through his bones quite suddenly and he advanced upon her, resembling Bellatrix in that horrifying moment. "If you ever hurt him, I will make sure that you lose everything. Understand?" She obviously didn't realize how much James meant to Sirius. If Lily broke his heart there would be Hell to pay.
When she began to speak again, Sirius grew more furious at her. Clenching his jaw, he exclaimed with righteous anger, "Damn it, Lily! Why don't you ever give me a chance to speak! You have no idea how much James and Remus mean to me! None at all." Then, he roared angrily at the mention of his brother. How dare she! How dare she talk of Regulus when she had no business in doing so! His relationship with his brother was of no concern to her and she should have known better than to bring him up! If she didn't talk so much and consider herself to be such a know-it-all, maybe she would have realized that that was a touchy subject for him. With a face as dark as blood, he hissed, "Do not speak of Regulus. You know nothing about me, Evans, and if you don't shut the hell up for once in your life, I don't think you ever will. You're so focused on what you think and what you feel that you don't realize how your damned actions affect everyone else around you." He gritted his teeth and moved away from her, trying to make sure he wasn't going to lash out. Then, when she mentioned that she 'came to him', he laughed derisively, the insanity flashing through those silver pools yet again. He was furious, beyond the stage of mere anger. She was crossing over so many lines that he had no idea where to begin. "First of all, I don't give a damn what you think of me. Second of all, you have no right knowing of my secret nor do you have any mentioning it to me. Why the bloody hell do you think it's called a secret? Thirdly, you don't chase someone down when they're mad at you, Evans! You wait for them to cool off." Obviously, he wasn't eager to talk to her nor was he quite pleased with her presence yet. She should have known to wait. Obviously, she didn't have much common sense. Damned bookworm.

She didn't know how to respond to be honest. But she was going to have to try somehow didn't she?
"You're right. Okay, I don't know how much the others mean to you. But I do know how you guys act around eachother, and I'm sorry for bringing up Regulus...I was just referring to the fact that you and James act like brothers more so than you and he do, that's all. I wasn't trying to be rude. But I see your point. It's not my business, and I do not intend to hurt James. That's not what I'm here to do. I wasn't even searching for you. To be honest. But James is the one who suggested that I give you time, and it's not like I'm coming after you right after it happened. I gave you three days before even trying anything. I haven't said or done anything to you recently. I am glad of one thing, when I see you guys together, you guys have a bond that most only dream of, I know I do. I never had that with anybody with the exception of Severus....and we both know how that turned out, and that's exactly the reason why I don't want to break up what you guys have, especially you and James. Hell you can hate me all you want to, but I'm not going away. I'll leave you be, but that's as far as it goes, 'cause I'm not going to walk away from James. I will not hurt him. I swear." She spoke as she honestly was considering leaving. She didn't know how he would respond but she really didn't even want to see him act like Bellatrix even more. That was the part that had gotten the worst for her. It wasn't that she was afraid of Sirius, but she hated Bellatrix' look...especially on Sirius' face. Sirius had every reason to be angry though.

Sirius was beyond fuming. His silver pools were flashing continuously, and he needed to get his points across before he hurt her physically. He didn't want to, but damn it! She was being so annoying. Sirius didn't like to be around these types of people. It was one of the reasons he simply left Lily to James and Remus. He had no interest being around her because he didn't like to waste his time with people that thought they knew better than him. Except for Remus, but at least he was humble about it! Remus did things to help he and others out, but Lily was just trying to one-up him. Sirius felt cornered, much like how Remus had felt a couple of days ago when she had confronted him quite unnecessarily in the common room. Sirius was oddly reminded of his mother when she spoke. There was a slight desperation to her emeralds that was quite similar to his own mother. That was even more disconcerting and he had to turn away as she spoke for fear of lashing out more quickly now that she was beginning to resemble the woman that had denied him all he wanted. Love. He figured it was why he was so desperate to gain the affections of all other women, because he had never received that from his mother. It was sad, really, but he only psychoanalyzed himself occasionally. It was not comforting, either, that she had nearly the same eyes as his mother. They had been a very dark green, nearly brown, but Lily's always resembled hers when she became angry. Sirius couldn't even be around the redhead when she acted in such a way. It brought back way too many memories that he wanted to keep stifled.
He chuckled derisively when she admitted her defeat. Swiveling back to her, the silver pools stared into those familiar emeralds that he had grown to hate. He smirked cruelly at her, eager for what she had to say. He was just itching to strike her down with his own tongue. "Damn right you don't! So stop prancing around like you do!" He cringed at the mention of his brother again and a deep feral growl erupted in his throat. Another guffaw escaped from his throat and the sound was wild in its insanity. Suddenly moving closer to her, he whispered, "You've no idea what I've gone through at what I used to call my home, Evans. You've no idea how long I've denied Regulus as my brother. If I did have a relationship with him, I would make sure that it was nowhere near any relationship I had with anyone else. I wouldn't want to give him the pleasure of thinking that I care." He glared at her hotly before backing away again, clenching and unclenching his fists continuously. He chuckled loudly when she said she wasn't trying to be rude. He saw that as a complete lie considering the fact that she was doing everything entirely away from her intentions. Sirius knew this was what she wanted, though. She wanted to see him squirm, because she knew she had won. And that was sickening to him.
"Bullshit, Lily! I know you've been looking for me! I've seen you in a lot of places where I've been! If it wasn't obvious that you wanted to make amends, maybe I would have ran away more quickly!" He stiffened at the sound of James' name again. The fact that he had told her to wait comforted him because he was glad that at least someone knew to let him cool down first. Maybe he should give her a chance. He glared at her. Not yet. He shook his head quite violently, the long curls shaking about his head as he exclaimed, "Three bloody days? Do you think that's enough? You're corrupting the mind of my best friend, Evans! And you confronted Remus as if he were swine!" His voice had turned into a snarl and he felt his lips curl with disdain. Rolling his eyes at the mention of Snivellus, he muttered, quite harshly, "Just because you had it rough with ole Snivelly doesn't mean we all have to make that kind of mistake in trust, Evans. He was rubbish from the beginning." He knew he was being harsh, but she was getting on his last nerve. Sighing loudly and dramatically, Sirius crossed his arms along his chest, watching her silently with his cold silver eyes. Finally, after what seemed to last an eternity, he said, "I will be as cordial as I can, Evans, but don't expect me to ever like you. James has been hurt by your rejection in the past. If I see it happen again, I swear to Merlin you'll be sorry you ever met me." He was eager to get away from her, but he knew that he couldn't just leave. He had to at least tell her what he thought of her to make himself feel better. Besides, James was the closest thing to a brother he had ever had, besides Remus, but he wouldn't let anything happen to either of them. Hell, he'd even jump in front of them when faced with the killing curse. Everything he did, it was because of his love for his friends.

She focused on Sirius' comments and of course he was right. She had been rude but she was just trying to work with what she knew. Her own emerald green eyes looked not at him, but at the ground as he started yelling at her again. It was getting frustrating. She wanted to be there, and try and help them but Sirius didn't want anything to do with her, and she wasn't going to force it on him. He had to deal with it all himself. It was his call.
"You're right, I don't. And I can't imagine what you had to deal with when you were with them. But I'm glad to see that you're not like them. And I'm glad you had people there who loved you, and offered you a place to stay like James and his family welcomed you in, 'cause even I can see the brotherly bond you both share." She spoke, remaining on keeping her eyes and her tone of voice quiet. She wasn't going to yell at him like one of the Professors, that wasn't her intention. She wasn't sure what she could do now. She hadn't planned on any of this. Least of all to piss Sirius off, she'd only wanted to warn them to watch their backs a little bit as it was easy for her to figure out what they were and she didn't want anyone else to catch on. That's all she'd done, of course it had happened at the wrong place and time, but she had tried to make up for it, and the other two had forgiven her, so why couldn't Sirius?
"It's clear to me, that you don't think that I'm worthy of dating your best friend. I realize I should have given you more than three days, and yes I did want to talk to you, however it's not what you think. I'm not here to try and bully my way into your group, 'cause what you have, is special and I'm not planning to ruin that. You four have a bond that most only dream of. As far as Severus is concerned I'm beginning to question alot of things, but at least I knew what to expect from him. He still tries to talk to me....on occassion, which is better than I thought he'd do. 'Course he doesn't do it when I'm around anyone else. I did reject James, and I'm not going to lie and say that I didn't. But I had my reasons for it. I'd do anything to try and protect others. Which is exactly why I went up to Professor Dumbledore, after I heard word of what he was trying to do, and that was to form a group that would help save my kind from Voldemort's reign. He's trying to make the world a safer place and I do intend on joining him as soon as I get out. The group is called The Order Of The Phoenix, and right now, we know for a fact that Voldemort is beginning to call forth groups, known as the Death Eaters, to try and get as many creatures, witches...wizards and the like to try and corrupt the world as we know it. I heard Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore talking about it, outside his office. 'Course they know I know what is going on, and they know I want to help. And that's exactly what I am going to do. I'm going to make something of myself, and use the magic and the knowledge that I've gained over the last seven years and do something that's good, and useful. Despite those who would rather tell me that as a woman I can't do a thing, and that my place is to be at home and let the men do the fighting. That's not the kind of being I am, and I certainly won't allow it." She said as everything she had done, was to protect those around her even if they didn't want to be protected. Aside from James, she didn't really have anyone else. "Aside from Petunia, and James, I have nobody else. Especially now that mum and dad are dead now. Which is exactly why I am going to go out and do what I have to, in order to protect what little family I have left." She emphasised that part the most.
