It was Friday the Thirteenth, a dangerous time as any, for a muggleborn to be out and about. Granted, with the dark times that lied ahead of them, she was quite scared. Though it did not show as much. She kept her wand at the ready, just in case she needed it. After walking in Hogsmeade, she found herself being pushed into Hog's Head, and there, she ran into Bellatrix Black, a notorious Death Eater, one she did not like, and whom didn't like her. Most purebloods did not like her but a few, had tolerated her, ones like James and Sirius of course, they were the few exceptions. Which to this day surprised her.
Luckily for her, she'd studied the Dark Arts, if only to avoid them. She had a lot on her mind. She had been walking alone, and so the fact she got pushed into the pub at all was annoying. Then to be knocked into Bellatrix Black, Sirius' cousin, was an even more annoying factor, if there ever was one. However, she knew that Bellatrix would have a reason to hex her as she had gotten their house to lose seventy five points in three days, due to the stupidty of the other students from that house, and had insulted Bellatrix directly. Even Bellatrix knew of her struggles when it came to Severus, but she had tried to hide it, tried to deny it. Only it wasn't so easy. She was angry, and she was not going to let Bellatrix Black make a fool out of her. Tonight was not going to be another repeat of the last time the two had been alone.

Bellatrix had ordered for Rookwood and Goyle to bring her the new Death Eater known as Nott to be interrogated to find his worth. Of course the Dark Lord would have given this job to his most faithful servant. She was the best, after all. Her silver eyes glistened with anticipation as the door was swung open. Her nostrils flared, however, when she saw that mud-blood Evans stumble inside. Narrowing her eyes, she snapped her fingers. One of the Death Eaters standing nearby her threw a spell at the door that would trap her inside and Bellatrix then smiled cruelly. Her lips were stained red, making her skin look even paler than it already was. Grinning, she stood up and then moved slowly around the table she sat at. No one could help this poor little Gryffindor out even if they wanted to. She had placed the Imperius curse on the Bartender and anyone else that wanted to come in besides her Death Eater cronies would be confunded instantly. Her sickly sweet voice emanated in the room as she gained closeness to the red-haired girl. Silver locked onto green as she hissed, "A pretty little thing like you shouldn't be wondering so far out this way in a time like this." Her lips curved upwards and her silver pools glistened.
Then, without warning, she whipped out her wand and thought Expelliarmus! It was aimed at Lily, obviously, but she doubted the girl would be ready for it. She didn't care if she was anyway, for Bellatrix would not be defeated. Grinning over at the two Death Eaters around her, she said, "Let's play, fellas." She laughed cruelly, the sound like venom. It enveloped her entire countenance, giving her quite an eerie look about her. She was beautiful, but she had lost some of it due to the cruelty she had inflicted upon others. She had cracked her soul, for Merlin's sake! What person would say that she was insane once they realized that? No one. That's exactly what she wanted.

Now she was enraged. Her wand hadn't been out so the spell that had been cast at her, did not affect her. She was able to avoid the blast, but since there were so many death eaters in the room, she did not know if she would be able to avoid them all. Most likely she would die tonight in this very room, but she would not die without at least fighting for her life. "Bellatrix, nice to see you again. Wondered when I'd meet you again. Given you're out of school now." She smiled, granted she was going to either A, talk her way out of this mess, or B, fight and die trying. And to be honest, she preferred option A alot more than she did option B.
When she finally sent her wand out, she was able to knock out the two death eaters close to her, and hoped they would not wake up any time soon. "Now what is this, oh and here I thought you were going to play nice." She said, giving off a radiant glow from her eyes. "I did not mean to interrupt your party here, Bellatrix. I was pushed inside...most likely from one of your Death Eaters. After all I know how much you love torturing my kind." Bellatrix hated her, and it was a shame too, as she was so smart. Bellatrix could easily have used that to her advantage, but she would never join Voldemort, never join what his commands were, to destroy her own kind? She would never sell out those who were like her, oh no, she would fight, even until her last breath. She would never let Bellatrix force her to do something stupid, like joining Voldemort. "I'll just be going now." She said as she made her way toward the door, but always kept her eyes on Bellatrix alone.

Bellatrix's silver pools narrowed ever so slightly when Lily dodged out of the way. Her smirk turned icier and she couldn't help but giggled maddeningly. Then, she twirled her wand in her fingers and then said, "My, my, it seems we have a feisty one tonight." She smiled unpleasantly when Lily spoke, her lips turning into a disgusted snarl. With a violent hiss, she screamed, "How dare you speak my name with your filthy mud-blood lips! You will address me as Black, if you so desire, but you have no right to speak my name with such impudence!" Her eyes flashed with insanity, the silver alighting like lightning. Her fingers tightened around the black handle of her ebony wand as anger flushed through her body. She knew this girl was clever. She knew that she could have been of use to her Dark Lord if only she weren't a mud-blood, especially if she weren't in Gryffindor. She had brains, unfortunately. If only she had some blood in her, then maybe it'd be alright.
Her nostrils flared as two Death Eaters fell to the ground beside her. She tilted her head to the side, the long black strands clouding her face for a fraction of a second before she aimed her wand just slightly at Lily. It was a very clever move, so she thought, for she didn't even use much effort to aim it. And, to make sure to keep Lily's eyes off of her ebony wand, she hissed, "You should know better, Evans. Someone with brains like yours should always know better than most." Her eyes narrowed into slits, the hatred growing. She began to pace back and forth between her growing amount of Death Eaters. Some had come in through the back door which she ordered to be locked and then with her band of ten or so fellow minions, she smiled wickedly. She didn't know where Goyle and Rookwood were. They should have found Theodore by now. She idly glanced down at her watch and tapped her foot at one of the other Death Eaters nearby. He nodded once behind his mask and Apparated out instantly. Then, Bellatrix made a circle with her wand, making it impossible for anyone else to Apparate or Disapparate. She giggled when Lily continued to speak and she threw a chair over at the girl, watching it land on the ground just at the red-head's feet. "Why don't you have a seat, darling? You're going to be here for a while, trust me." All of the Death Eaters behind her began to aim their wands. One offensive move and she would be dead. "Come now, Evans, can't you realize that you're worthless? The Dark Lord would not want filth such as you mucking up his troops. I don't know why anyone would." She made a disgusted expression and then grinned again. Then, with moves like a creepy spider, she was right in front of Lily, staring her down with her devastating silver eyes. She tilted her head to the side and aimed her wand at the girl's throat. "Do what I say or you won't have a chance. Don't make me torture you, Evans, for I can assure you that it will be no trouble at all to do so." She waited, wanting the girl to fight. It would be much easier if she did so. She could kill her more quickly. But, Bellatrix liked to play with her food, after all. A slow and painful death was the way to go.

She didn't like the way she was being ordered around. "Sorry Ms. Black, didn't mean to upset you. That's not what I was aiming for." She knew damn well how lucky she was that she hadn't been killed yet. Although she could have been more use alive than dead. However, she did not want to sit down. She did not like being cornered, not now, not ever. Her wand was pointed at two more Death Eaters, and again knocked them out. A few more appeared, and she continued to use magic, until they were all knocked out with the exception of Bellatrix. She preferred even matches when she dueled someone. She worried about the other Muggleborns. They wouldn't be as lucky as she was, for they didn't have the kind of smarts she did. Or the Power. "I'd prefer to stand, actually." She told Bellatrix, of course, she knew that Bellatrix had no problem using the unforgivable curses. "Ms. Black, I didn't come down here to muck anything up, irregardless of what he who must not be named says. I have no interest in what he has planned. All I want is to get through Seventh year in one piece and move on with my life, that is all. End of Story." She waited and suddenly just like that Bellatrix was right in front of her. She backed away, not wanting to be anywhere near Bellatrix at the moment, although the distance would not help matters any. She was seventeen years old and she was in no way shape or form ready to give her life over to someone who didn't deserve what she had to offer. Least of all her skills, and her magic. She may be a muggleborn, but she wasn't the brightest witch of her year for nothing. What she knew would come in handy for Dumbledore, and the Order, and nothing would change that.

Bellatrix could practically taste the defiance oozing off of the redhead. With flashing silver eyes, she let the girl know that she was not to be trifled with. She twirled her ebony wand in her long porcelain fingers, leaning on the table in a nonchalant pose, as if she didn't consider Lily to be a threat at all. And, she didn't. The girl may have been smart, but Bellatrix was smarter. She could outwit this girl with the slightest of ease and she was going to do just that. She grinned at the pleasing tone the girl took. It was quite amusing. In a hiss, she murmured, "Have you always been an ass-kisser, mud-blood? I can tell you that it's not very attractive." She smirked, her red-stained lips curling with disdain. She didn't care that all of her Death Eaters were knocked out. They couldn't fight worth a shit, obviously. Narrowing her eyes at her continuing defiance, Bellatrix kicked another chair towards her, pointing at it with a thin and long finger. "Sit, or I'll have to make you, mud-blood. There's no reason to talk back to me. Just obey my simple little order . . ." Her voice had turned into a hiss as she continued, a crazed sheen flashing through her vibrant silver pools.
Shaking her head, the stringy strands of black tumbled around her face, bouncing around their master quite merrily. They seemed to hiss along with her laughter, increasing her eeriness. She tilted her head to the side, her eyes shining through the blackness of her midnight locks. "But you're a mud-blood, darling. Everything you come near is immediately destroyed of all of its value." She smirked again, clearly talking of Snape and Potter. Either of them would have been a nice insinuation in that insult. She laughed at the girl mentioning that she had no interest. Holding onto her stomach as if completely shocked, Bellatrix suddenly stopped and then stood stock straight, her eyes locked onto the emeralds. "Of course you are, you silly girl. All the people that claim to be against him are interested in what he is planning. I find it quite amusing that you all do, though. I believe that once you figure it out, it will be far too late." She cackled lifelessly, the sound reverberating off of the walls like poisonous silk, eager to attach to any hope that hung in the room nearby. It was aimed at Lily, for the spider was attempting to break her spirit. All she wanted was her fear. She smirked.

She was not afraid not even by a thread. She knew that's what Bellatrix feeded off of, and she would not give it to her, no matter how she did torture. She did not talk back but she did not sit either. She refused, knowing of course that for an instant it could mean certain death, but she was sure by now, that if Bellatrix had wanted her dead, she already would have been. Oh no, this was like a game to Bellatrix, and she had no interest in letting the young woman win.
At least one thing was good about the whole situation, she wouldn't have to worry about being wooed into joining Voldemort, nor would she. She would refuse, even upon her last breath. She had been an Order Member, even without having given blood to the cause. Ever since she had heard Dumbledore and McGonagall talking about it, she was in, though she had spoken to Dumbledore, and was practically an Order member already, though it would be much easier once the end of the year was over. She smirked softly, her own wand was twirling in her hand, as if to strike within the next second. She did not care what her punishment was for not obeying Bella's direct order. But of course, she couldn't help but get angry every time the word mudblood was brought up. That was a sensitive issue for her, after what happened with Severus. She knew better than most not to stir up Bella's fire.
"Maybe you misheard me. I don't care what Voldemort has planned. He can go do whatever he likes and I don't give a damn. I'm done playing your little game, Bellatrix, it is time for me to go. You can call me whatever you want, I don't care anymore. I've spent the last nearly seven years of my life, being treated with disrespect simply because of the fact my blood is unlike yours. It's not Pure, and you know what, I'm proud of that fact. That at least what I am stands for something much more than you could ever dream. I am not afraid of you. You could kill me hell you could torture me until I was begging for death, but I am not afraid of any being alive, not even Voldemort. Besides, he wouldn't be trying to send you to kill me. He doesn't need to. Hell he could try and do it himself. But I know damn well that he's not after me, not anytime soon. And don't you dare bring others into this. This has nothing to do with my being a muggleborn or mudblood as you so hastily put it. This is about power, it's as simple as that, and as long as you think you have it, you think you have control. I've played this game long enough. After all I was best friends with Severus for nearly a decade. His games are just like yours. I believed them only for a while, but it did not phase me that day by the lake. I've had to accept the consequences, but see, the difference between you and I, is not the fact that we're different by every aspect in the book, even down to DNA. It's that I have the choice to be good. You don't. You chose this life, you choose to make others' lives a living hell because you think it's funny or you think it's natural. Well you know what, I may die young, but at least I know I died for what was right. Not for what was easy. That's all evil is, it's taking the easy way out." She said finally. She was sick of Bellatrix's games.

Bellatrix simply smiled when she noticed the girl's bravery. Or, as she liked to call it, foolishness. She was being completely naive in thinking that she was going to get out of this unscathed. The raven-haired spider never let anyone out of her sight without a memento of her presence. Maybe a nice scar would do. Or a little bit of psychological damage. But, first, Lily had to take the bait. She had yet to do such a thing, however, and Bellatrix found it quite irritating. But, she didn't let it show. Her jaw clenched when the girl still refused to sit. Smirking cruelly, she muttered, "If you don't sit, then I suppose this isn't going to be a civil rendezvous." Her grin turned vicious as her wand moved ever so slightly. But, to keep Lily's eyes on her own, she said, "I never knew mud-bloods were so defiant, especially to those that are better than them." As she was speaking, at the moment she had said the dreaded word for Lily's kind, she had thought, CRUCIO! It had been thought with as much hatred as possible. If it hit the girl, it would cause her a lot of pain. But, all Bellatrix wanted was a scream. Just a little cry of agony and she would not beg for more. Unless it was unsatisfactory, however.
She giggled crazily, her silver pools flashing like lightning. The nerve of this girl talking to her in such a way! She couldn't wait until she had the chance to kill her. No, she couldn't do it now. The Dark Lord had forbidden it, for Snape's sake. She could always say that it was an accident, of course, but she knew they would be able to tell. Even though she was a Master of Deception, she knew her Lord would be able to see right through her. He was the only one she couldn't fool, but she'd never wanted to and never would. With a smirk of her thin lips, she muttered, "How do you expect to be anything resembling helpful to Dumbledore if you don't even realize how much it means to him to have the steps in my Dark Lord's plan? You cannot fool me, mud-blood. I see far more than you can even imagine." She rolled her eyes as Lily continued to speak, yawning in the midst of it. When she complained about being disrespected, Bellatrix cackled loudly and cut across her, saying, "Oh, boo-hoo, is the wittle baby going to cry now?" She giggled maddeningly, the sound vicious in its surreptitious silk. She began to block out Lily's words, growing bored of her incessant talking. It was quite annoying, actually. When she said the Dark Lord's name, Bellatrix advanced upon her, centimeters away from her face. She snarled with ferocity as she retorted, "How dare you speak his name with your foul tongue! Do not mistake the Dark Lord for a man of pity! He would not even consider a mud-blood, even if you are the smartest witch of our age! He could care less. Just like me, he thinks your filth. What could he want with a waste of flesh like you?" Her silver eyes were flashing vibrantly, the fury rising in her. Evans had no right to talk of her Dark Lord in such a way.
When Lily spoke of Snape, Bellatrix grinned. Obviously, the red-head didn't realize the precautions Snape took to ensure her safety. But, she wouldn't say anything. She liked seeing the damn boy miserable every time Lily Evans was brought up. Bellatrix even made it quite a habit to do so around him. She smirked and hissed out his name in a soft whisper. "Severus . . ." She grinned, feeling already even more powerful since she knew more about him than his supposed best friend ever did. But, something in the girl's voice suggested that she still loved him, partly anyway. Rolling her eyes, she muttered, "What makes you think that I care what you have to say, mud-blood? Your words are worthless and full of cockiness. You walk around like you know everything, when you don't! Maybe that's why you never had that many friends to begin with. Maybe you should learn to shut that hole in your face before someone does it for you, permanently." She giggled and then pointed her wand at the redhead, yawning terribly. This girl was such a bore. She thought evil was easy? What did she know? She had no knowledge of evil, even if she claimed to know everything, bloody know-it-all. But, Bellatrix knew much more than this girl. And Evans didn't even realize it. "Tell me, oh so knowledgeable mud-blood, why don't you stop chattering like a foolish school girl and fight me like a woman?" Her smile turned devilish in its bloodthirstiness. She was eager for some pain.

She looked at Bellatrix smirking, when the Crucio hit, it stung like a thousand knives all over her body, though she did not scream, despite the pain as she knew exactly what Bellatrix's idea of fun was. However, when Severus' name was brought up she was so angry. Bitter, in fact. "Severus doesn't know anything anymore. Not since his transformation, all of us can see it. Hell I was his best friend, I knew him better than most...up until his facination with the dark arts, overpowered everything he was...everything he spoke of. It was all lies, I knew it then, as much as I know it now. I do not regret anything with him, however, I regret one simple move. You could think I'm filth all you want, hell Voldemort himself could think so, but you know what I know better. I'm not like one of these misguided youths you can bully around. I am not afraid of you. Bellatrix. Hell you could kill me right now, I know you have it in you, I've seen it, but I also know you're not doing it because He doesn't want you to, not yet anyway. Everyone has a path in life, some believe the higher calling, that it's right to take others' lives just because their born differently. Blood is just that blood. It is not what makes a witch, wizard or muggle, it's our personalities, it's what we choose that make us what we are, not if we're pureblood, halfblood or in my case muggleborn. You can call me a mudblood all you like, I could care less. I'm not interested in fighting you, if I were, I would have already started."
Her wand was at the ready, and even though she had been crucified, she did not dare bring her wand up. She would only use it the moment it was needed. Right now, it was not. She knew that Bellatrix liked the screams, and the torture, it's what she lived off of, and right now she wasn't about to let the ogre get her wish. "Evil is as evil does." She responded, to what Bellatrix said that she knew nothing about being evil.
"Everyone has a little bit of evil in them, but to be truthful about it, many have learned a way to not let it control them. I have, despite how much I've been tortured throughout the years. I could have used magic for my own personal gain and vendetta, but I don't. Because it's not worth it. Stupid is as stupid does, and I...above all else know the cost." Her voice was growing more powerful by the second, each time she spoke her tone raised. She was biding her time now.
She knew she would regret saying what she was about to say, but felt the need to anyway. "The only reason you're even working for him is because you think his way is the only way. That you'll be protected, which you will be. Granted, I could see why. I know the benefits of both sides. But I also know to give others a chance as they might surprise you. Even those of halfblood or even muggleborn like myself, have been able to get more done than some of the less tactful Purebloods. Bellatrix, I realize you don't like me, you don't like what I am, as a muggleborn and I don't expect you to, actually as it would take someone of noble blood to actually give a damn about another being...witch, wizard, or muggle. Sirius is one of the few purebloods that I actually respect. Because he doesn't treat everyone like they're dirt. The way that your Dark Lord does, and while to an extent, we are all different and unique but that's what makes our world work as well as it does. I don't care to fight you. You're not important enough to battle." She spoke, her voice still at the same tone it was when they first met, calm and soft. Yet she had to raise her voice to be heard with the new chatter that was around them. Still, aside from that, she was treating this as a civilized conversation, the body guards still having been knocked out. She was still in pain, but she did not bring herself to scream. It took alot more than that to get her to scream.

Bellatrix's left eye twitched quite horribly when Lily didn't scream. But, there would be time for that. Right now, she needed to find a way to crawl underneath of the redhead's skin, to make it itch and boil. She smiled beautifully when she watched the other girl's anger grow at her speaking of Severus. The bitterness that radiated through those emotional emerald eyes sent Bellatrix's heart into an anticipated frenzy. She wanted blood. When Lily spoke, Bellatrix simply smirked at her. Obviously, she was ignorant to Severus's attempts at keeping her safe. It was disgusting really, how he could feel such things for a mudblood, but he was a good servant to the Dark Lord, so she didn't complain that much. Hell, the girl didn't even know that he talked of her almost incessantly when in the right company, which Bellatrix found extremely irritating. But, she wasn't going to say anything about that. She liked people to suffer and Severus was one of her favorite victims. His pain seemed to be more of a victory than most others'. She found it relieving when he was depressed in some way, even if she didn't have a part in it. She assumed it was because the Dark Lord had rather taking a liking to him, but she wouldn't let that distaste show. Bellatrix was growing irritated at the girl's incessant talking. And, then, she said that she wouldn't kill her. Smirking, she slashed her wand violently in the air and thought, SECTUMSEMPRA! She aimed it at the redhead, eager for blood. "If I kill you, he'll have to get over it. I'm his best servant, his most faithful. He would never deny me for long." The stupid girl should have known that. She was foolish, trying to talk about things she knew nothing about. She put a hand to her lips, yawing dramatically. When Lily finally finished talking, she rolled her watered eyes and said, quite viciously, "If you believe you are going to get somewhere with your annoying words, then please continue. I can assure you that everything you say goes in one ear and out the other. Because, you see, mudblood, I don't give a damn what you think. Because you are of inferior birth and you think you know everything, you are not worth me lending an ear. Why waste my thoughts on the likes of you? You're nothing but a doll that takes pleasure in twisting mens' hearts." She grinned horribly, obviously speaking of Severus as well as James. If she wasn't as damn idiotic as Bellatrix hoped her to be, she would figure out that Severus was still doing everything to protect her. But, the damn fool probably wouldn't. She was too blind in her hatred of the beautiful arts of the dark.
Tilting her head to the side, Bellatrix narrowed her silver pools into formidable slits of contradiction. They glistened with hatred but her face was alight with a pleasant but most horrid grin. With a cold giggle, she murmured, "What would you know of evil, mudblood? Have you reveled in the darkness as I have? Do you know it by name as I do? What would you have to compare the light to when you know nothing of its counterpart?" Bellatrix herself knew naught of light, but she knew that she was far from it. If the Aurors were claiming to be right, then she was far from that. But, in her mind, she was correct. Her Dark Lord was right, not those fools. She would win, as she always did. She laughed wickedly as Lily spoke of evil again. The girl obviously liked to attempt to prove people wrong about her not knowing about something. Rolling her eyes, the raven-haired witch muttered, "Yet again, you prove your ignorance with words of mockery. The Dark Arts are simply a way of increasing your magical ability, mudblood. No one said you had to use them for evil." She smirked cruelly, knowing that very few Wizards that studied the Dark Arts stayed in the path of light. After all, she knew from experience that she was full of black and utter darkness. Giggling, she smiled when Lily mentioned stupidity. "I'm sure you would know that very well, wouldn't you? I bet you don't like to be proven wrong, mudblood. Tell me, do you know what I'm going to do next?" She wouldn't give the girl the pleasure of knowing what she was going to do. But, she merely twirled her ebony wand in her fingers as if she were not worried at all about this. Lily was nothing but an irritation crawling under her skin. Bellatrix was unphased by her raised voice. She merely saw it as an insult to her obvious superiority. Hatefully, she muttered, "You would do well to watch your tone, filth. Are you willing to test me?" Most didn't know what to expect of Bellatrix. But, considering that this idiot thought she did, Bellatrix was going to prove her wrong. She knew how to be shocking and unpredictable. It ran through her blood.
She felt like hitting her head upon the wall as Lily spoke again and she sighed loudly, wishing the girl would stop giving her ten minute long monologues. It was eating at her nerves. And one did not want to irritate the ill-tempered Bellatrix Black. Clenching her jaw, she hit her fist on the table behind her, those silver eyes leaking with furious hatred. "SHUT UP! SHUT UP! YOU KNOW NAUGHT OF WHAT YOU SPEAK! MY DARK LORD IS THE ONLY WAY! YOU ARE A FOOL FOR FOLLOWING THE PATH OF THE MISGUIDED!" She was fuming, her rage nearly tangible throughout the nearly empty room, full of knocked out Death Eaters and imperiused workers. Her nostrils flared uncontrollably and her eyes widened into saucers. The insanity leaked into her brain like a disease, clouding it with dark colors. All she saw was red. Even her silver pools held a tinge of pink at the thought of slaughtering this girl. "HOW DARE YOU SPEAK TO ME IN SUCH A WAY, YOU FILTH! I AM ABOVE YOU IN RANK, IN KNOWLEDGE, AND IN SKILL! YOU HAVE NO RIGHT SPEAKING TO ME IN SUCH AN IMPROPER WAY! I SHALL NOT HAVE IT!" With rising fury, she sent a wave of Cruciatus and Sectumsempra curses towards Lily, the shower all aimed directly at her. She knew that at least one of them would hit her. She was going to weaken this worthless thing and slaughter her confidence when it came to thinking she could defeat Bellatrix Ariadne Black.

She wasn't sure what more could be done, when a wave of curses sent her way, she was angry, beyond angry, but she did not scream. She did not let Bellatrix think that she had won. No, after a few minutes of agonizing pain, she stood up much like she had before. "I am not afraid of you and I'm certainly not afraid to die." Her words were echoing in the brilliance of it all. She wasn't as stupid as Bellatrix had pointed her out to be. Bellatrix didn't care for anyone but the Dark Lord, it was evident now. She did not need Bellatrix's approval of anything...
"And I'm more pleased now than ever at which side of the line I've followed, yet they may be as misguided as you might think but at least they don't treat others as if they're inferior. Inferiority means nothing to me. You can curse me all day and all night for eternity and it would not change my beliefs. I may not be evil, but I have seen it every day of my life, both here within the magical realm and at home. You can't fool me. I've seen more than my fair share of both sides. Nobody can convince me that the choice that I'm on is the wrong one. It wouldn't do to even try being on the darker side of life anyway. If I am to end up dead than so be it, but I'm not going to allow the next generation to live in fear." That was all she could say, after all it didn't matter what happened to her now, she wasn't afraid to die and she wasn't weak, by any and all measures. She was in pain yes, but preferred not to let it show. She couldn't. What was the point in that? Bellatrix was not to be taken lightly to be sure.
Her emerald green eyes grew darker as did her tone. She was not going to let this witch tell her how to live her life, or which side of life she belonged. "It's not like there's a choice, to sit around and watch as others die, at the hands of the Dark Lord, or fight for what I know to be right. It's not a hard choice to make, you just have to have the strength as well as the faith to do so. I may die by the end of it all, and leave the others behind, but at least, at least I'll have done what I know is right. Something that not even Severus knows how to do. Severus may be someone of importance to the Dark Lord, and I could see that to be true, after all Severus' vast knowledge of potions and the dark arts would be helpful, and he's taught me everything I've ever needed to know about either subject."
